Just a friendly note:
There is a chance to be able to home compost this floss but only if you have a HotBin. Even though this product is plant-based, it will only compost under industrial composting. If you do not have this option available to you, you will need to dispose of it in your black landfill bin. Just remember that you have made a kinder and more ethical purchase instead of buying a plastic floss that you find in the highstreets stores. This is currently the best option if you are looking for a vegan floss. There is a completely compostable floss that can be composted at home BUT it is not cruelty free. This floss is a silk based floss but the process of making silk is not kind. Silkworms are boiled or gassed alive and there’s no regulation for peace silk either (which is meant to be a way of extracting the silk without harming them). You have made an all round sustainable and kinder choice!
How to use:
Use the floss as you would normally by pulling out around 30cm of floss and wrapping the floss around your thumb to control the position. Floss slowly between each tooth, being sure to reach close to the gum line.
